“Oxford Products has a totally amazing team of people and without that team, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We are very proud to win three WOBAs but the most important award for us was winning Employer of the Year. If there are any people in Oxfordshire who would like to join our global company which operates as a family business, please get in touch.”Andrew Hammond, Managing Director of Oxford Products.
Charlotte Pimm of Woozelbears (winner of Brethertons LLP Solicitors Business Person of the Year) said: “After five years of hard work, winning this award must mean I am doing something right! Winning a WOBA is the icing on the cake in a year where we have celebrated our fifth birthday and the opening of our second office, based in Swindon.”
Commenting on this year’s WOBA winners, Jo Sensecall from the WOBA organising team, said: “The calibre and breadth of entries this year has been exceptional and we would like to congratulate all the winners and finalists who should be very proud of their achievements. As the WOBAs move beyond their fifth year, we look forward to welcoming even more entries for the 2016 awards as business in West Oxfordshire continues to thrive.”
WOBA winners and finalists were treated to a personal video message from Prime Minister and Witney MP David Cameron. Commenting on the WOBAs, he said:
“Now celebrating its fifth year, West Oxfordshire Business Awards continues to be a great showcase of the very best that local businesses have to offer here in West Oxfordshire. I am a big supporter of small businesses and I am extremely proud that my constituency plays host to so many. They are the lifeblood of our local and national economy and it is great to see their vital role being recognised at the Awards. I know how much time and energy has been spent by the Awards team and its sponsors to make this event such a success and I would like to thank and congratulate everyone involved.”
Oxford Products has become the proud recipient of a unique trophy designed by students from Abingdon & Witney College and made by Synolos, an organisation that helps vulnerable young people in West Oxfordshire.
STL’s Bill Smith commented, “To be crowned 2015 West Oxfordshire Business of the Year is a real accolade and our congratulations go to Oxford Products who are well deserved winners. Every year the WOBAs create a unique trophy for this Award and STL is proud to have our name on this one as sponsor. I’m sure it will look stunning in Oxford Products’ trophy cabinet.”

The West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs) formed in 2011 to fly the flag for business and entrepreneurship in West Oxfordshire, a district that punches well above its weight for the local economy. The WOBAs are organised by a team of local businesses, who give their time for free to make the Awards happen.
