Strongbyte Solutions – Contacts: the cherry on the cake

Strongbyte Solutions are feeling on top of the world. They’ve recently won the WOBA Innovation Award, have made some significant new business connections including a Non-Executive Director and are enjoying the success of their latest product launch – VOCOVO

The company specialises in communication technology for the retail sector. 25 years of experience of listening to customers, understanding their businesses, their challenges and their objectives has led Strongbyte Solutions to develop some very clever kit indeed.

Their highly successful ‘Voicepage’ technology is used by numerous big retailers including Tesco, Homebase and Wyevale Garden Centres and allows staff to communicate via headsets throughout the store from the warehouse, the office, through to the shop floor. The technology allows retailers to deliver better customer service and drives massive efficiencies through their business – saving up to 11 man-hours per store per week!

Strongbyte Solutions new VOCOVO technology launched in March and has even more benefits including the ability to receive incoming calls from customers onto VOCOVO headsets so they can take a call from any point in the store, GPS tracking (great for alerts for delivery lorries), crystal clear communication across a massive range making it perfect for retailers, stadiums, production sites, warehouses, hospitals – the list is endless!

The product was designed by in-house technical experts at Strongbyte Solutions, in conjunction with a team of 25 engineers in Hong Kong and Denmark. It took two years of research, design and testing.

Sales and Marketing Director Clare Dudley was inspired by a business coach to enter the WOBAs. “It was all a very pleasant process, not at all onerous,” says Clare. “We were happy to have been selected in the final 3 and then delighted on the night to find out we’d won our category! It was a really glamorous and prestigious occasion and made even more special by the fact that our families and friends could share our moment via the live link”

When asked why she decided to enter the business into the WOBAs, Clare explained, “I really wanted recognition for our development team who have worked so hard over the years. I believe that the WOBAs gives you the chance to celebrate your success”.
